I am a big fan of Automatic Writing, but will confess that I have been slacking off with it for quite a while. This is a form of divination where messages seem to come out of nowhere and through your own hand and onto the paper in front of you. Some writer’s have written poems, songs and full length novels.
How do you do Automatic Writing?
This method of divination is pretty easy to do if you have the patience to sit down and give this a try. You merely sit with a pen and piece of paper and wait for messages to come. Relax and clear your mind, if you can sit and clear your mind for a bit then you can do this. Loosen your wrist by twisting it around a few times and then very lightly lay the tip of your pen onto the paper.
When I do it, I sit with my mind clear and I preoccupy myself by watching tv or reading a book. Another thing I do is shield myself by visualizing myself in a glowing ball of light. I use white and purple. I start my writing session’s off by asking if my Guides have a message for me. That’s when my guide Owen comes through.
Soon you’ll discover your hand moving on it’s own. There is one very important thing you need to do while doing auto writing and that is to try not to intentionally write something on your own.
Just go with the flow and let your hand write whatever it’s going to write. Some will write using their non dominate hand or the hand they don’t write with. If you can do auto writing using that hand and actually write words that are understandable with it then you know your auto writing.
When your done sit back and start reading what you wrote. You might find that you made a bunch of dribble and scribbles. There are times when I did it to where I would write a lot of the sideways 8 infinity signs. Look your writing over and try to decipher it the best you can. In the end, it might not make sense to anyone, but yourself.
